Measure the palm
Measure around the palm across the knuckles, keeping the tape comfortable and excluding the thumb. Record the unit and whether the measurement was taken over or under any garment layer.

Prepare repeatable hand and arm measurements before requesting glove or sleeve samples.
Record hand length
Measure from the wrist crease to the tip of the longest finger. If the brief covers a size range, send the smallest, largest and most common target rather than one unlabelled number.
Add arm and sleeve context
For opera gloves, arm sleeves or other long accessories, note the intended opening point and the length to that point. Add the garment or occasion so the proportion can be reviewed with the silhouette.
Make the sample request repeatable
Include the reference product or family, measurements, tolerance, colour, material direction, estimated quantity and delivery market. Final sizing follows product and sample confirmation; this guide does not replace a fit review.
